On the beach

Verlene Y Tyree 1963 (Chicago)

The lady sat down and I started talking on a topic
I didn’t know why
She listened intently
Then let out a sigh

A man walked up
With a knife in hand
I saw her shake her head no
Abort, disband.

About this poem

There was a hit on me, God has been working in and through me for a long time. I’m just grateful that I’m able to give Him gratitude for my journey
