NOT MEANT TO BE

Some things were not meant to be
Just look around and you will see
My life had been simple and fair
But some people will always be unfair.

Some people can say that they love you
While other people can say that they miss you
But where are the actions behind those words?
By saying "I Love You"
                              and there is no kindness to be found
Or by saying "I Miss You"
                              and there is nobody coming around.

Some may think that it's sad
                                              to end a friendship this way
But why should we hang on to something
                                                   that was not meant to be?
Just look deep inside of yourself and you will see
You will find out that true love will find the way.
