Care for your fellow man and love one self

Caution so that I don't offend
And you can't judge a book by it's cover
Reach for the sky because it's the limit
Even treat someone how you want to be treated

Follow this and society will accept you
Or is this how things actually go
Right now I see churches at war when their first rule is to not kill

Yet their word is how we are supposed to live
One says one thing and does the complete opposite
Unknown now days what someone feels that they are
Religions can't even follow their own words

Follow your heart they say
Even my heart argues that society isn't together like it should
Like how are we to comform if we don't even know what color of skin someone feels
Little does it matter what's on the outside though
Only should it matter on how we treat one another
We as people should be better than animals we eat

Mysteriously as a rule "nice guys finish last"
A man should not be counted last because he follows golden rules
Not acceptable is it that in order to get by in the world you have to break eggs

Always society contradicts it's self and doesn't even follow it's own rules
No child should go unloved because they are different
Divorcing someone after you swore to God to be there through good times and bad is now the norm

Listen to one another and show each other respect
Once you say something follow through
Violence only brings on more violence and nobody truly wins a fight because everyone gets hurt in the end
Even our vets who fight for our freedom are on the streets and go hungry

One shouldn't have to live in this world and be afraid to leave the house
Never should it be acceptable to say one thing and actions show another
Even alligators can get along with a little bird  but eat anything else that gets close
So why do we treat others the opposite of how we want
Each person should ask why society says this is right
Loving one another or at least caring is rare
Few act on it and then they post it to get views

I agree that being "good" is a better way to be.
I could go into way more detail but let's just say it's complicated but possibly not as complicated as many may believe.

    I like that you're analytical.
