Within the Shadows: A Broken Rose

In the dimness of the night's embrace,
A broken rose I find, resigned to fate's cruel chase.
Its petals once vibrant, now wilted and forlorn,
A poignant symbol of love's departure, torn.

Leaving me in darkness, your absence doth sting,
Like a wounded soul that can no longer sing.
Once, I blossomed with joy, in vibrant allure,
But now I'm left stranded, my heart insecure.

You promised eternal love, a flourishing bond,
But now I'm left behind, abandoned and fond,
Of memories sweet, now bitter in their taste,
While I stand in the shadows, my spirit erased.

The moon weeps for me, for the love that has died,
A silent witness to the tears I can no longer hide.
The stars dim their light, as if mourning our parting,
My world, once gleaming, now lost in its departing.

But like the phoenix, I shall rise from the despair,
Rekindling hope, mending wounds, with tender care.
In the darkest hour, I'll find strength deep within,
For broken roses bloom, through hardships, they begin.

So, farewell to the darkness that ensnares my soul,
I'll rise from the ashes, no longer defined by this toll.
