Just To Be...

If your heart stops beating, you forget to breathe.
If you just cannot think, your heart will remind you to love.
If your moment never comes, give a chance to care.
If your day feels like it stops, life will remind you.
With every heartbeat, remember to breathe,
With every thought, remember to love.
With every moment, remember to care,
With every day, remember to give life a chance.
Why can’t my heart just tell my lungs to exhale?
Why can’t my thoughts wrap me deep in your love?
Why are my moments spent in so much doubt?
Why are my days spent searching for you?
In every heartbeat, there is a message reminding to breathe.
In every thought, life reminds me to love.
In any moment, life might seem unfair.
In every day, there is a message telling you just can.
Without you there my heart beat stops and I don’t breathe.
Without you my thoughts are betrayed without your love.
Without you how do I dare?
With you, my life finally feels like it has a chance…. to be!
