Rock Bottom

Rock Bottom
By Robert T. Davenport
In the depths of despair, when all seems lost,
And life's trials have taken their toll,
When you hit rock bottom, at the lowest of lows,
Remember, my friend, you have the power to grow.
For in the darkness, a flicker of light,
A spark of resilience, burning bright,
It's in these moments, when you feel weak,
That your true strength, you shall seek.
When life knocks you down, and you're on your knees,
Gather the fragments, piece by piece,
For in every shattered dream, a lesson lies,
A chance to rebuild, to reach the skies.
Embrace the pain, let it fuel your fire,
For from the ashes, you shall rise higher,
With each setback, a stepping stone,
To a future where your greatness is known.
Believe in yourself, for you hold the key,
To unlock the potential that lies within thee,
No matter how deep the pit may seem,
You have the power to fulfill your dream.
So rise, my friend, with unwavering might,
Embrace the challenge, embrace the fight,
For when you hit rock bottom, you'll find,
The strength to soar, the power to shine.
In the face of adversity, you'll stand tall,
A testament to your resilience, through it all,
For when you hit rock bottom, remember this,
You have the power to overcome, to never miss.
So pick yourself up, brush off the dust,
With newfound determination, in yourself you trust,
For when you hit rock bottom, it's not the end,
It's the beginning of a journey, where you transcend.
You are capable, you are strong,
And in your heart, a melody of hope and song,
So let the world hear your triumphant roar,
For when you hit rock bottom, you'll rise once more.
