Undeserving

We are but dust, unworthy and frail,
Yet God's love for us will never pale.
He sent His Son to die on the cross,
To save us from eternal loss.

We are undeserving of such grace,
Yet God's mercy we can embrace.
He forgives us when we fall,
And lifts us up when we call.

We are but sinners, lost and alone,
Yet God's love for us is ever shown.
He guides us through life's rough terrain,
And heals our wounds and eases our pain.

We are undeserving of such love,
Yet God's blessings rain down from above.
He gives us hope and peace of mind,
And in His presence we can find.

So let us praise Him with all our heart,
And from His love let us never depart.
For though we are unworthy and weak,
In His love we can find the strength we seek.
