I Don't Belong in Heaven

I don't belong in Heaven, NO!
I am not good enough.
The dirty rags of sin still show
I'm filled with sinful stuff!

I don't deserve to see my God
Except for punishment.
And so I would be very awed
If hell I was not sent.

The Bible says, "God commanded his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. *

I don't belong in Heaven so,
I'm humbled more each day
Because my God will let me go
To Him with faith today!
