Taking Sides
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
Taking sides to decide,
One is better than another.
Can and could be a mistake to make.
Although remaining impartial to both,
May be mistaken to have no concern.
Leaving one to attempt walking a tightrope.
Observing to realize,
From both sides being burned!
So...
What should one do in this position?
Under these conditions?
Lie and claim,
To be preparing...
For an immediate and much needed,
Brain surgery!
