Sun

Brightly it shines
The sun on my day.
So bright it fills my
Nights.

No loneliness when
She’s here.
She and her sister battle
Back and forth.

Day and night.
Good and evil.
Warm and cold.

An endless battle
But by day we live,
And she is always
At a win.

Night shoulders
The many frights
That shadow our minds.

So by day I choose sun
And night I leave lights
On!

This poem tells of the bad and good of the situation, perhaps dancing around some kind of irony thought. At first it reads as a contradiction, but this is up to the reader.
    Good read!
