Concrete Solitude
In the heart of the city's ceaseless beat,
Where neon lights paint the crowded street,
Amid the towers that touch the sky,
I find a solitude that makes me sigh.
The labyrinth of alleys, a shadowed maze,
Echoes with footsteps, lost in a daze,
Concrete giants, reaching for the stars,
Yet within, the loneliness quietly scars.
Faces pass, each one a fleeting glance,
In this urban dance, a solitary trance,
Shadows on pavement, a silent parade,
A city's heartbeat, a symphony of charade.
The neon signs hum a lonely song,
As crowded sidewalks weave along,
Reflections in windows, distant stares,
A silent plea for someone who cares.
Isolation wears a crowded disguise,
In the city's pulse, where loneliness lies,
Among the masses, I find my own space,
A concrete solitude, a crowded embrace.
The city whispers tales untold,
Of dreams crushed and stories unfold,
Yet in the solitude of this urban scene,
I find solace in the spaces in between.
Concrete solitude, a paradoxical theme,
In the heart of the city, a solitary dream,
A reflection of faces, lost and found,
In the city's embrace, silence resounds
