Death and grief on my mind
Wherever I go, whomever I see
The hands winding down
Sublime calls, transcendence awakes

The soul I call to, can't ever hear
Wandering my heart tires and respite seeks
The river flows, the soul seeks
Depths unfathomed cries unheard.

About this poem

My mom passed away a few months ago and this is my grief talking.
