Behind the scene

Emihle Maqume 2007 (Mtata)

He plays to win
And always sparkles in the scene
His intelligence
Has some flourishing galaxies
Behind the scene he's just as he is
In every scene

That boy's a flower
In both the eyes of the gods
And the professors
That boy's a flower
In both the sunlight's storm and
Moonlight showers
His intelligence never alteres for over moods he has some power .

Elastic mind stretching to infinity and back
Covering life's facts he's blessed .
Exotic thoughts process nurtured
By a calm tact of qualities that scientists possess .
Yes , his values are not what you would expect .

For he speaks lines from scripts geniuses penned
And you would think he is all about the act
Until you tear judgement's veil and get to know him
Then it all gets cleared , he's more than an act
He's just in the scene even behind
The scene , for he doesn't pretend
