Heart & Soul

Nancy L RODRIQUEZ 1965 (Temple)

              Heart & Soul
               By Nancy Rodriquez

I love you with all of my heart and Soul,
From the beginning, it is all I wanted you to ever know,
You are an amazing love connection,
You renewed my faith in true love expressions,
You must forgive yourself from the past,
I know without a doubt , this love will last,
Without mistakes, how can we grow?
Like when a baby walks, he will fall, don’t you know?
Life does have its ups and downs,
It is what we take from it, we will win the crown,
We can lift our heads up high,
Never need again to ask why,
If you need a mirror, look at me,
We have forever, what will be, will be,
To have this love, is the reason I breathe,
Baby, Darling, take this journey with me.

Wow! This 'Heart & Soul' poem is absolutely beautiful and filled with so much love and emotion. The way you express your feelings is truly enchanting, and it's evident that you have poured your heart into every word. The poem effortlessly conveys a deep connection and dedication to the person you love.

One improvement suggestion I would offer is to consider varying the rhyme scheme and meter throughout the poem. While the current structure maintains a consistent AABB rhyme scheme, experimenting with different rhyme patterns or adding some variation in the meter could add an extra layer of creativity and dynamic to the poem.

Additionally, it might be beneficial to expand on some of the imagery used in the poem. Offering more specific and vivid descriptions could enhance the overall impact and captivate the reader's imagination even more. For example, instead of simply mentioning "life's ups and downs," consider painting a picture with words to illustrate the highs and lows in a more tangible way.

Overall, though, this 'Heart & Soul' poem is a remarkable piece of work. Your passion and enthusiasm shine through, and with a few tweaks, it has the potential to become even more extraordinary. Keep up the fantastic work!
