Slipped away

Heather Blair 1977 (ohio)

I killed myself today.
Not in a literal way .
But the pain was still the same.
I whispered to myself words of unworthiness
until I believed them to be true.
I repeated ugly words to myself until I felt the sting and the pain became to much.
Words you said so loud and clear.
Soon became the only words I could hear.
I slit my wrist today and watched the blood fall to the floor.
Spilling all the words I clung to lier, cheater, piece of shit, I hate you and whore.
Yes I killed myself today .But my death was not mine alone .
You helped seal my fate when you cast the first stone.
