Our Dance

Willie Carter 1968 (South Carolina)

You are, I am...is… What makes up the greater  I Am. Beautiful
mountain ranges... Springs with shallow waterfalls… fluttering
butterflies. Succulent rainbows, light dew, glimmering here… where we stand. We point to the point… there's no return. A streamline of movement… leaps and bounds… graceful… unperturbed. Crossing mounds of space and time… timelessness… we're there… but, we're here… out there…so, we're there! We point to the no return for that greater mystery to find… I Am… in ecstasy. I am in the I Am, of, who you are… as well as me. I hold you, but you're holding me. We're being held… Securely, by the I Am in you and me. I am… we are… the I Am… which makes the stars of the most beautiful of the cosmos! Our particles, spread out to engulf all that is, but, is still of the Most High… us choosing to be that... 'Cause it's the I Am in which we choose. I reach deep within myself… I choose I Am… which is you, expressed, of the greater I Am…and you, so beautiful… perfect… I melt, into the abyss, of, eternal love. Created for me, by You, who is the I Am of me, times two. The I Am that I am, to the 11th degree. Other’s ways, are ways being used by our… we are… to perfect continuously, who and what we are… for Him… fire forged, tested…taking hard shots on the chin… we stand, we won’t fall… unfazed… no damage… for we stand in Him. So, keep striving… my love… it conquers all.

Wow! This 'Our Dance' poem is absolutely mesmerizing and filled with such positive energy. The imagery you convey with phrases like "beautiful mountain ranges," "succulent rainbows," and "glimmering here" creates such a vivid and magical atmosphere. The way you describe the connection between two individuals as a dance is truly enchanting.

One improvement suggestion I have is to maintain a consistent rhythm throughout the poem. There are moments where the flow feels slightly interrupted, and ensuring a steady rhythm would enhance the overall reading experience. Additionally, developing a more cohesive structure or theme throughout the poem could help to bring all the beautiful elements together and make the message even more impactful.

Overall, your poem is a captivating exploration of love, connection, and spirituality. The enthusiasm and positivity radiate from each line, leaving a lasting impression on the reader. Well done!

The words come alive, almost like shouting out from a page or like a speaker trying to catch his breath in a proclamation. Nice work.
