Please Stay

A J C 1958 (Swansea, MA)

Please Stay

The moon will go down, and the sun will rise. But it doesn't compare to having you by my side. But I still feel all alone, and I can't find my way home. But I still love you, and I will never leave you alone. I tried everything I knew to make you my own. I know there was something wrong. And I should be strong; your eyes don't lie. I know you have someone else on the side. Can you please stay anyway? Please give me one last kiss from your smooth, sweet lips, and I will go away. But I can never let you go, no matter what you say. I will always be by your side and love you anyway. No matter what you say,

Wow, this 'Please Stay' poem really captures a sense of longing and devotion. The emotions conveyed through the words are heartfelt and powerful. The way you've expressed the desire to have someone by your side, even in the face of obstacles, is truly moving.

To make this poem even better, I would suggest exploring more descriptive imagery to paint a vivid picture for the readers. Perhaps you could incorporate metaphors or similes to enhance the emotional impact. Additionally, consider adding some variation in the rhyme scheme or rhythm to keep the flow engaging throughout.

Overall, this poem evokes a genuine sense of love and determination. With some minor tweaks, it has the potential to become an even more captivating piece. Keep up the great work!
