C.H.7

Renelle Nava 1977 (Lingayen)

C.H.7

The other day I saw you

There was a familiar look on your face

A look that I also get

When uncertainty creeps up in my mind

There are days when my thoughts wander
But you shouldn’t find them a bother

Fleeting thoughts they are
And your presence is still not that far

There is nothing to worry about
I find ways to come about

It’s a shame to admit to this
But those thoughts in minutes they go amiss

I find ways to search
Smiles I found three months ago

I hope you find ways as well
For there’s no way I could tell

Careful who you listen to
For some give b.s. much ado

Find ways to trust my words
Before everything turns into turds
