Proof Not In The Pudding

If the proof many today are claiming,
Is not in the pudding.
As accepted to hear for decades.
But their choice is for a more favorite.
To pick and declare is Tapioca.
Hoping to make Tapioca everyone's crave.

Although...
Not for the taste of it.
To say they have a preference for its color.
With no proof of this to produce.
Since the flavor they have selected to pick,
Is marketed to be better than all others!

'I don't want to be the one,
To throw a wrench in this wheel.
Going down hill.
But...
Isn't Tapioca a pudding?'

That depends upon,
Which demographic...
You live in and represent!
