Can One Comprehend Chaos (Bussokusekika)

Edwin Tanguma 1966 (CA)

Can One Comprehend Chaos   (Bussokusekika)

When you look at me
You’ll see my haphazard gait
And you will assume
He is lacking confidence
Where will he place his next step
Can one comprehend chaos

About this poem

Some believe that even a simple task such as walking requires conscious thought…While others believe its purely instinctive…But what if each and every step was already planned long ago before we even thought about taking our first step???What a concept…I used to believe I could make plans and that everything would go according to them…That was until I learned that even my plans were all a part of a greater plan that even to this day i can not begin to comprehend nor even try to fathom…As if such a thing were possible…
