The Spark Within

My heart is heavy, weighed down by regret.
My mind is clouded, thoughts I cannot shake.
The path ahead seems lost, my soul is set
Upon a course of sorrow, grief, and ache.
I search for solace, yet find none at all.
My soul is weary, longing for release.
A glimmer of hope still flickers, small
But bright, a spark within my heart's abyss.
I cling to that spark, though shadows loom.
