Overthinker

Thoughts racing through my brain,
Never-ending arguments.
One moment, frozen in time,
Melts within seconds.
Screaming words of degradation,
An endless cycle of humiliation.
That can only end with you.
Only if you have the resilience,
To be able to guide you through.
Be warned about getting lost,
In the cracks of the mind.
To dig too deep,
may cause damage beyond repair.
Yet if you do not dig deep enough,
It would be easily missed.
That this whole time sitting in silence,
The internal anxiety has created this mist.
