My Sentiment

I wish more than you know
That forgetting you was part of my benefits.
This time we spent together,
I wish not to be familiar with.

I never intended to become a lovesick character.
In fact, I wish more to be the villain
So that I may carry on blissfully unaware that true matches exist.
You see, even those can be undermined by the wrath of easy existence.

This was not warned about.
Your affection was sincere and whole.
It was happily addicting and as warm as the sun on my cheeks.
With watery eyes and involved smiles
You brightened my spirit with your touch and professions.
You gave me the most pleasant sentiment.

I feel pain
But you are kind and tender.
You were soft and I was weak.
Thank you for bringing me peace.

Now, it is true that I am rotten and bleak.
I will miss you in every moment and carry your heart delicately.
I will hold your hand in my sleep.
I will desire to have you near me.
So I ask you, my sweet suitor,
Why couldn’t it be me?
