My journey of my life Burundi & USA

In Burundi, I stood, a refugee, alone,
In a camp, with hopes, my heart did own.
With each day's rising sun, a tale did unfold,
Of resilience and strength, the story of old.

From distant lands, we sought sanctuary,
Striving for peace, and a life that's free.
Yet in the camp, where dreams were bound,
In our hearts, a spark of hope was found.

In the face of adversity, we stood tall,
Together we rose, over walls, we would crawl.
Through hardships and trials, we learned to endure,
The strength of community, forever pure.

And then, the day came, a new chapter to start,
The USA welcomed me, with an open heart.
In this land of dreams, my life was renewed,
As King Umtiti, in a world so vast, I pursued.

From Burundi's camps to the American shore,
A journey of courage, forever I'll adore.
My refugee life, a story of resilience and grace,
In the USA, I found my rightful place.
