Feels like deja vu

I'm a nice guy, I'm never mean,
I ain't gonna get mad and cause a scene.
Not gonna lie it's so frustrating,
You just wanted attention that's what I've been observating,
I'm sick of scanning through these messages and evaluating.
You liked me and I liked you we were both on the same page,
We were expressing our feelings for each other in the talking stage.
Engaging in conversation as you send me a text,
Connecting on a deeper level as we spoke about sex.
Channeled my feelings for you that i needed to embrace,
Told you my intentions explaining that i can't wait until i see you face to face.
You were acting different you when i sent you a poem that started with "24/7 I've got you on my mind."
Girl what is going through your mind?
Tell me what is on your mind?
"That's actually amazing."
When i like someone i go in with all guns blazing.
"I'm more than happy to still talk to you whenever though i feel like i lead you on."
Sitting in silence i feel like an indiot unsending the message i want it gone.

It feels like deja vu,
Girl it was clear i was into you,
But no matter what i do,
It feels like deja vu.

To be honest i didn't like the messages that i received,
I felt like i was being decieved,
Not gonna lie i thought things would've been different for a moment i just hoped and believed.
I feel like the tiger giving up on the chase,
We were vibing but it's like it never took place.
Tryna put the missing pieces together but it's all fallen apart,
It was just a lustful game to you right from the start,
Did you even listen to the things i said to you that came from my heart?
Not gonna lie it feels like I'm just the target board and you're the prickly dart.
I'm sick of this game,
It's clear love is a chasing game,
I thought you felt the same,
You made it clear that you're not interested so I'm done playing this game.
I don't understand what you are conveying,
You never meant a word you were saying,
I was just a pawn in this game that you were playing.
My gut instinct keeps telling me that i was just a distraction,
I'm working on myself now that's my plan of action.
When i zone out i write rhymes,
Expressing my feelings as i write these lines.

It feels like deja vu,
Girl it was clear i was into you,
But no matter what i do,
It feels like deja vu.

Need some alone time to analyse my thoughts in my own headspace,
Taking myself from social media as i need some space.
Tryna stop myself from overthinking I'm doing everything that i can,
Honestly girl what was your game plan?
Girl you're not making any sense,
I get the impression your laughing at my expense.
"I like the flirting."
Not gonna lie a part of me is hurting.
I respected you,
I appreciated you,
I'm a great guy that's what I do.
Things were going good yesterday,
But that was yesterday,
But that was the other day,
What am i supposed to say?
"It's fine, you didn't hurt me, it's all okay."
You're so mature,
I really respect you more,
I ain't gonna show you that I've been hurt and that I'm actually insecure.
I'm tryna put on a brave face,
But in reality I'm all over the place.
I'm lost in my thoughts stop tryna intervene,
A dozen of message's keep popping up on my screen,
Reading all the message's I'm leaving you on seen.

It feels like deja vu,
Girl it was clear i was into you,
But no matter what i do,
It feels like deja vu.
