Poem 22
In a cozy room in Japan, she lays,
A warrior woman in life's ballet,
Years spun in vibrant hue,
Now braving a journey, bold and true.
With twinkling eyes and a heart so kind,
She faces the challenge that's intertwined,
No fault of hers, narry a misdeed,
A second surgery, a hurdle to mend,
But hope's her ally, her faithful friend.
In the hospital's embrace, she rests,
With thoughts that flutter like autumn guests,
Negot’ing tubes, pain, insipid food, and the wily sugar,
Curious wonders twirl in her mind,
What might this journey hold, she'll find?
As winter winds whisper outside,
She dreams of joy on this unforeseen ride,
Vestige of loss or gain attained?
A tapestry of memories unfold,
Life's vibrant hues, both silver and gold.
In the land of the rising sun so bright,
She seeks the meaning in hope's soft light,
All with constant doting of friends n fam,
A journey unfolding, a tale yet untold,
A chance to discover treasures untold.
With courage beaming in her soul,
She embraces uncertainty's stroll,
For in the laughter and tears that gleam,
Lies the magic of life's hopeful dream.
May the surgeon's touch be gentle and sure,
As she weaves through this challenge pure,
Being pampered free of home’s chores,
May hope's gentle breeze, so light and free,
Guide her heart to what's meant to be.
