Division

Edwin Tanguma 1966 (CA)

División

I guess I’m an unbeliever
According to the things I’ve read
There are so many thoughts running
Through the recesses of my mind
Should I even worry about
A lot of the stuff I’m thinking
Or should I cast it all aside
And start walking through my life blind
That would be the easy way out
I’m sure that many would choose it
Yet that way is not right for me
With mine eyes closed I could not see
This is why I am where I’m at
Behind these walls slowly dying
While thinking about those I love
I fell into one of their traps
That they had set upon my path
For the two of us joined as one
They are trying to divide us
So they might accomplish their goal

P.s.Divide and conquer is their Cree
And everything in life is free
They have been rich all of their lives
And they carry the sharpest knives
They like to cut flesh to the bone
Without thinking of their victims
