Come With Me

You have kissed my cheek to wake me from these blue rooms, and whispered softly in my ear, "come with me." It's the instant sunlight begins a drifting dance across the sky.

A pull of dreams and gravity keep me in the pillows but you insist with your simpering look, an allusion to something I can't quite recall.

Slowly alive I rise now and you, making promises with your impish laugh, are moving through the slicing rays of morning sun. Something stirs....

...and I remember why you've come to me.

You're laughter singing now, lyrics tumbling out in gasps and chortles, music illuminating the recurrence of the day I came alive.

Lover, may I always rise from blue rooms to your teasing sounds of pleasure. And may we, turning gently as the earth, always chase the sun across the sky.
