Old you

Toni jo Dulaney 1989 (Akron ohio)

Your right I said our love was forever and then you changed,
It's like i don't even know you anymore your so far away and estranged.
Swearing your still the same but we both know your really not,
You slipped further away with every fix you bought.
I know your stronger than that just take a look at your past,
Surviving through all of that but a needle and dope knock you on your ass?
You used to be so full of light but that light has grown weak,
Always wanting to be there now all you want to do is tap and tweak.
You constantly call me names everything is my fault,
All alone you do as you will and lie and make excuses so you don't get caught.
Maybe you use to love me but there's nothing there now,
I love you so so much I just hoped you would've found the old you somehow.
