C.H.6
Renelle Nava 1977 (Lingayen)
C.H.6
People say I can’t commit
And they question if it’s legit
I say experience has taught me well
And boredom is what I want to quell
If keeping my distance means keeping you in tact
And if it means being together remains a fact
Then apart we must remain
So the fire we can maintain
I say it’s not that I don’t want to be committed
It’s the fear of losing you that makes me less permitted
If keeping you at arm’s length means we stay together
Then at a distance we must remain forever
It is my wish to be your ultimate desire
And I feel marriage could ruin that fire
If there’s one promise I’d like you to make
It is that ours you won’t allow to break
Keep your pants zipped up as tightly as you could
Keep your faithfulness as securely as you should
For when you ruin everything that’s ours
There is no turning back the passed hours
P.S.
Keep in mind that being a man doesn’t mean you have to be a whore
In other words, don’t let ours be shaken to its’ core
Kapish?!
