The pawn Shop

Amidst the dusty shelves of a pawned past,
Where sentiment and struggle forever last.
Each item a chapter in a life's design,
Pawned for a moment, a sacrifice in time.

The pawned guitar, once strummed with grace,
Now in a corner, a memory to trace.
Its strings whisper tales of a bygone song,
Fading echoes, where hope once belonged.

Watches that counted moments so dear,
Now ticking away, shedding silent tears.
Pawned hopes and dreams, a desperate loan,
Everyday battles, a harsh, relentless tone.

In the pawn shop's window, a wedding band gleams,
A token of love lost in desperate schemes.
The struggle for survival, a relentless tide,
Leaving behind dreams on this perilous ride.

A mother's necklace, a family's crest,
Pawned for survival, put to the test.
Everyday life, an uphill climb,
Trading memories for the passing time.
