One Woodsy Morning

I pondered on a foggy morning
That I ripped from the folds of time
That I might be a traveler
In lands far off from mine.

I adorned myself in finery
With patches of centuries
Sewn into the fabric.
I wore times
Diamonds of memory
And coal black earrings
Whose complex geometry
Has no solution.

The trailmarker read Forever- a day=?
And I pondered if I was the minus sign
And forever is tomorrow
And the result of the equation
Is life.
