Nomadic Echoes in the Chambers of the Heart

"You come and go in my mind, like a traveler of distant lands"
In swirling thoughts you drift, a nomad wandering far
Seeking adventure, chasing dreams under alien stars
But though you roam, you know this:

"but in my heart, you stay, like it is your home."
For here you rest your weary head, your refuge from the cold
These chambers filled with memories, stories left untold
In this hearth burns our love's flame, warming you when you're alone

"Because it is your home."
A sanctuary for your soul, to heal your wounds and fears
Through joy or sorrow, still you have my smile, my tears
Whatever storms may batter you, this haven will atone

You are the missing piece that makes my spirit whole
In your eyes, I find the beauty that lifts my weary soul
Your touch ignites my senses like the summer's sultry wind

My days are filled with light again, now you are here within
The empty spaces in my life are filled with you alone
For I have found my heart's true home, now that you have shown

Me horizons yet unreached, new lands for us to roam
Hand in hand we'll tread new trails, no longer on our own
We'll trace our steps in desert sands, cross mountains peaked with snow

And when the journey ends each day, it's to home we will go
To find warmth, peace and unity, no matter where we roam
For home is where the heart abides, now we're no longer alone

Home is where we dream and dare, where laughter lights the night
Where spirit, mind and body thrive, our haven, our delight
Through partings, reunions, time, one truth will always be known

This home we share transcends all bounds, eternal and our own
Not walls or rooms contain its light, it lives in us alone
No sea or storm can shake its peace, this refuge we have sown

So go and wander where you must, follow your restless stars
I'll keep home's hearth-fire burning bright, until you return from afar
We'll share our tales when you come back, the memories you have sewn

Of journeys strange, of people met, the wonders you have shown
Then wrapped in each other's arms again, we'll know we're truly home
For home is where the heart abides, now we're no longer alone.
