Night on Repeat

Liqour, liqour loosen my lips.
I am released from my muzzle with so much to say.
We will talk and talk.
Everything will go my way.

The dream scenario never goes that way.
Why did you leave? I have so much to say.

The last cinder of sobriety melts away.

Again, awake and alone, the night behind.
I was never taken serious.
Every single time.

But tonight will be different.
