Why did the fly stop the passing honeybee?
She wanted to ask something, that's why, you see.
The honeybee asked, "What's the reason to stay?"
The fly replied, "Every morning brings a new day.

Is it to be friends with butterflies or the flowers in the land?
To race through the city as soon as it can?
The honeybee commands me, 'Be the queen's delight,
Not to spread dirt like you, but to stay pure and bright.

I visit the gardens, sipping nectar so sweet,
Treasure from the flowers, my joyous treat.
My time is precious, I don't waste a bit,
I know the value of time, I work hard for it.
I toil every day, I don't wander in vain,
I stay focused on my tasks, never causing disdain."

In this conversation between the fly and the honeybee,
We find lessons of purpose and industry."

"I have neither a friend nor a companion,
That's why I am not delayed in any work.
The benefits of honey are countless,
Tell me, what's the use of thirteen?
The fly said, 'I don't do much work,
But I am content with my status,
I keep flying tirelessly everywhere,
My hands are always clean and clear.
I am the queen of myself,
No orders, no hierarchy,
Contentment is within me,
There's an ailment within me.
The honeybee started smiling,
The fly, embarrassed, stopped being proud.
The two knew there was no competition,
It was like making a donkey race against horses.
They both continued on their own paths,
The argument ended, for God's sake, farewell, oh friends,
The story ends, and I depart, oh friends."
