The Fighters
Prabhjot Kaur 2010 (271 Upper Temple Walk,Leicestershire-LE40QJ)
War's heavy burden,
Propaganda's dark whispers,
Men march to their doom.
False tales, sweet poison,
Blinding eyes and clouding minds,
Deception's embrace.
Flags wave, drums thunder,
Patriotism's cruel lie,
Soldiers fall like leaves.
Widows weep, hearts break,
Families shattered, forever,
Frail souls torn apart.
Oh, the sadness reigns,
A haunting, unending wail,
War's legacy bleeds.
Let us learn, let's heal,
Shun the propaganda's call,
Choose peace, love, and hope.
