Noxious Normality

His words are oxygen and I need to breath
But what I did not know was the air was polluted
And each intake poisoned me further and further
His cancerous lips killed me each time
But I began to like the feeling
Is this my mind? Or have I become toxic
With every inhale it burned
But it became a normality
And soon enough- without this pain
I felt suffocation
I need his hurt
