deleted messages

I type a text message
And as quickly as its written its deleted
All the memories and trauma you caused me
You stared at her the way I begged you too
I begged to be noticed,to be loved
The way you loved and noticed her
But i’m no beautiful blonde i’ll admit
I have no hourglass figure
And just like that our love turns into deleted messages
Forgotten
I read our promises
And just as quickly as there read
I find myself throwing them in the trash
Just like deleted messages
For you can recover them
But the anguish and disgust is still there
Like a forgotten memory
That’s forgotten for a reason
Deleted messages
