I go back to you

Sara De Santiago 1996 (San Jose)

A constant wishy washy.
A flood of emotion.

The water is rising

Caught up in the waves of the ocean

Just let me drown

Insecurity is just something you do to yourself

Stuck like glue.

Sticky.

Everything becomes blue

Blurry, in this self destructive Haze

Then we relapse... I relapse

About this poem

Self destructive cycles; people become our drug of choice

Sara De Santiago

I like things that have double meaning, things that make you take a second look, ponder a little deeper, and touch your heart. Poetry is something I've always loved. I had no idea i could put my poems anywhere until a friend told me about this website. Please enjoy more…
