Sad Blind Eyes

They appear to be open wide.
Eyes.
Clear as a cloudless sky.
Bright with consciousness.
Identifying activated common sense.

They appear to be open.
Ears to hear and paying close attention.
Prepared to make decisions meant,
To ensure the message...
Has reached an agreement.

Representing everyone of different races.
Anticipating together,
They could and would between them end...
Nonsense started as if children.
If peace is wished amongst them to get.

However...
It had been those of sad blind eyes.
Of every color to recognize.
Sitting with arms folded and heads lowered.
Wanting more to hear,
Permission to them given.
To continue their threats.
Since associated weapons collected,
They had not the opportunity to use...
Yet!

All the sad blind eyes.
Sat and cried buckets of tears.
To think and believe,
Peace to live is an allowed defeating outcome.

All the sad blind eyes.
Clear and bright under a cloudless sky.
Sad and cried buckets of tears.
To think it believed,
Peace amongst them to live...
Allowed defeat.

And this would end for them,
Without enemies to test...
Weapons.
Not to know,
The taste of victory.
Or just how effective,
The use of them could be!

'Sssshhh.
Stop.
Calm down.
Don't think of our unanimous decision,
As a loss.
And...
This to propose is just a recommendation.
What if,
You used those weapons on yourselves?
Then you would immediately identify,
Their effectiveness!'

'Hmmm
Who knew?
Give us few moments.
This decision requires a quiet conference.'

'Understood.'

'Members of The United For Peace.
Happy you have made us.
With that idea you shared.
And...
Feeling embarrassed, ignorant and stupid.
Is not what we want to leave,
As an impression to make.
Your suggestion?
That...
We did not think about.
Although,
Is one we will consider.

After all...
Pointless it would be,
To have weapons collected to go untested.'
