Outside

Shinerra Ward 1975 (Tennessee)

Outside I'm free.
Inside I'm at a stand still.  For it has not rained.
No thunder. No winds. Nothing to hide my despair

About this poem

I want to seat outside in the rain So I can cry all alone. I want to allow the wind To blow my unsung tears into chain of melodies. I want to dance in the rain And allow the spouring down drops to create an Nu formation.
