My Bay

The sun smiling down,
   during an afternoon walk.
Sharing tomorrow's dreams,
   or just playful talk.
Lending my shoulder,
   to shed those painful tears.
Your tender embrace,
   to calm my darkest fears.
Someone special to hold,
   in my arms at night.
Your soothing touch,
   ending my lonely plight.
Your wonderful smile,
and that sparkle in your eye.
Telling me it's ok,
for a grown man to cry.
You're as soft as a whisper,
and your heart's pure and true.
These things I remember,
   when I think of you
