Pasts

Pasts are horrible pasts are hard,
Pasts also make us play the victim card.
Everyone out here has a past,
Some of them disappear quickly and others seem to last.
Sometimes they make us weaker and sometimes strong,
But only you can look within to fix what's wrong.
Pasts build us up but they can also tear us down,
in order to stay standing you cannot keep all that bad around.
We're all unique and we all have a story,
You can not let the past defeat you You have to claim the glory.
It's so so hard when someone takes  their whole life to break you down,
Makes you feel weak even though they're not around.
Those people are miserable they want to see you fall,
Hold your head up and show them whose really 10-foot tall.
People prey on others who they think are weak,
It's through all that muck you can conquer if you seek.
