Unifying Paradox

The fog had dissipated
and veins could taste the blood
but something was missing,
a yearning;
a nostalgia
it was not an entirety.
what is entirety after all?
is it the moment of eternity,
or the eternity of a moment?
when the the time is enslaved
or may be crippled
by the axe of consciousness.

A crow sat on the balustrade
gazed at me
as if I were a god!
hope is a blind god
and god, a blind hope.
I looked at the stary night
and thought
You can't paint it all white!
