Sorrowful Rain

The rain falls
Soft as silk
Light as a feather.
Yet it seems to be heavy
Loud
And Persistent.
The rain is a constant thought, threatening to break into a fragile mind.

Louder
Heavier still
The rain falls.
Like angry waves, tipping and rocking a boat of emotions
Pushing it
Nearer and nearer
To the edge.

The rain stops.
But yet it forever falls.
The rain never stops inside of us.
The rain is an omnipresent echoing of doubt and fear of what lies ahead.

The rain still falls.
The sorrowful, unsure rain.
Soft as silk
Light as a feather.
