September

September, the month of change,
When the leaves begin to fall,
And the wind blows through the trees,
Releasing their colors to the sky.

The days are getting shorter,
And the nights are getting longer,
And the air is getting cooler,
Announcing the coming of winter.

But even though the days are getting shorter,
And the nights are getting longer,
And the air is getting cooler,
September is still a beautiful month.

The leaves are a riot of color,
And the wind is a gentle breeze,
And the sun is still warm,
And the birds are still singing.

So enjoy September,
For it is a month of beauty and change,
And it is a month that will soon be gone.
