Only your eyes

SHARON K. HUNTER 1976 (Biloxi Ms)

Verse 1
You Had Me From Hello, you complete my inner soul.
I know that I would die if I didn’t have you near me.
You are everything, that makes my dreams come true,
and I hold the world when my arms are holding you.

Main verse
If only your eyes had the power to see deep into my soul,
you see a love so pure, so deep, so strong, higher than any bird has flown.
and if only a touch from me can make you feel the way I feel, then you would know my love is truly real.

Verse 2
You came into my life, and you made everything right.
you give me strength and courage to keep me going on.
If only I could show you, the way you’ve changed my life,
the very way I feel when you are by my side.
Main verse

If only your eyes had the power to see deep into my soul,
You’d see a love so pure, so deep, so strong, higher than any bird has flown.
And if only a touch from me could make you feel the way I feel, then you would know my love is truly real.

Then you would truly know, yes you would truly know…

If only your eyes had the power to see deep into my soul,
You’d to see a love so pure, so deep, so strong, higher than any bird has flown. And if only a touch from me could make you feel the way I feel, then you would know my love is truly real.
And if only a touch from me could make you feel the way I feel, then you would truly know, my love is real.
