OH MY MOTHER
Oh my mother, do not let me stray,
I know I can be stubborn, unable to fathom life
father had in your custody entrusted my life
do not let me stray;
Oh my mother, protect me
from crocked friends, friends that made my foot
run fast into evil.,
I know you can see them seated,
I cannot even at the top of the mountain
do not let me stray;
Oh my mother, guide and reprimand me,
even when I stumble and fall,
let me hear your sweet gentle whisper
my child, you can make it
Oh my mother, do not let me stray.
