Mothers porch light

Free verse
If they only knew about that porch light .                  I would drive by day or night                                    it meant to stop when it was lite.                              I would pick up something or just sit                        Now you’re gone the new owners left it to shine      That porch light reminisce in my mind .

About this poem

My mother lived a mile from my home . I had go past her home every day after work. my mother has passed away and the house was sold .
