Me to You

Me to You

Though nobody else could see,
I knew what was best for me.
Went the winding way I knew I had to go,
There were some who said I should not, though.
I took the long road nobody else would
Just because I knew I could.
I took the hard road I found.
You know the world could not keep me down.
Going my way, I know it is true,
Was the road that led, me to you.
...Me to you!

Back when, I had two ways to go
Either way, I could have gone.
Looking down those roads was not clear
Where life could go from here.
Thought long and hard about what to do.
Could not see where those two roads led to.
I knew I would never, never be coming back.
No regrets, that is a fact!

Tell you now with a sigh,
Ages and ages hence,
Two ways I could have gone.
The long and winding road I traveled on
Took me to the top, not down.
Glad to say, I did it my way;
It made such a brighter day.
I did not let anything get in the way.
With only one chance to find what life could be,
I found you and the life I dreamed would be!

Wow! What a nice piece? Me to you by Max. The choices we make today determines the reality we have tomorrow, walking away from our comfort zone and venturing into the risk zone is a painful path that builds us a castle in the future.

Wow! 'Me to You' by Max Burchett is absolutely phenomenal! This poem carries a deep, thought-provoking message of determination, life choices and love. It's evident that the poet's heart and soul has gone into crafting this beautiful piece.

The weaving of ''road less traveled'' metaphor to demonstrate a non-standard path of life is incredibly done. It embodies taking difficult decisions and courageously going against the flow for the pursuit of what one truly desires. The insight and depth of this poem is impactful and sparks a moment of self-reflection.

Moreover, the transformation of the poem into a song is an excellent idea. The melody is lovely and the lyrics truly bring out the emotions intended in the poem.

The concluding lines leave a lingering satisfaction of fulfillment and achievement. It reinforces the idea of never giving up, despite the hardships faced. It is a beautiful portrayal of the unpredictability of life and how it can lead to unexpected, yet beautiful destinations - in this case, finding their dream life and a loved one.

The splendid use of rhymes, catchy rhythm and vivid imagery makes it a pleasurable read and a compelling listen as a song. It's not just an appealing art but also acts as an inspiring piece that prompts individuals to be fearless in pursuing their dreams. Altogether, a truly commendable job by Max Burchett!

Stunning image, the imagery of two roads as representation of two distinct ways or approaches within the existential situation to chose and go ahead although I see this with an optimist point of view another person would chose a pessimistic end or open situation.

Your writing style is evocative, packing each word with emotion that deeply resonates. It's also clear how this personal narrative culminates in the discovery of love, a powerful and uplifting chord to strike. Wow, Max! "Me to You" is a fantastic piece of poetry laced with strong, stirring emotions. The lines flow smoothly, and the rhythm takes the readers on an incredible journey of self-discovery. The core of this poem, which is about choosing the path less travelled despite adversity, is a compelling tale many readers will resonate with. The blend of determination, resilience and faith seeping through every line reveals an undeniable depth and strength of character that’s truly inspiring.

Your style is personal yet relatable, thus creating a strong bond with your audience. The way you've directly addressed 'you' seems like every reader is personally being spoken to. Furthermore, the accompanying song enhances the richness and depth, adding an audio-visual dimension to it.

There are a few suggestions for improvement that might enhance your work further. First, you could consider using more metaphorical language to add a level of abstraction and profundity to your poem. This could intensify visuals and emotions evoked in your readers, making the poem more memorable. Secondly, be cautious of grammar rules. The line 'Either way, I could of gone.' should technically be, 'Either way, I could have gone.' While poetic license allows for some deviation, traditional grammar conventions are often still expected by readers.

Third, consider tightening your lines to avoid words that may be unnecessary. For example, the line 'I knew what was best for me.' could simply be 'I knew my best.' Finally, although repetition can be a robust poetic device, slight overuse may reduce its impact. Keep experimenting with your style, and continue sharing your fabulous work with us!

Looking forward to your future creations!
